It would be nice that scheduled tasks (such as daily backups) automatically get restarted when windows starts. Right now the GUI has to be opened and the tasks manually restarted each day. Of course this isn't a problem if the computer is never shut down. I guess that I could make a command line process that accomplishes this, by using the windows task scheduler but I haven't tried yet. It would be easier if the GUI could do it.

P.S. I see that using the GUI to make shortcuts may provide the functionality I want. I shall see.

Charlotte,
Depending on which product you are using, you can setup both of them to restart upon the reboot of a machine.
If you are using Save-N-Sync, simply go to the File Menu and choose Shortcuts -> Add Shortcut to Startup Folder. This will ensure that when you logon, it will immediately start Save-N-Sync.
If you are using PeerSync, it is usually best to install PeerSync as a service. This allows the PeerSync schedules to run as a separate user, independent of whether a user is logged in. You can install it as a service by going to the Startup Options Window and selecting Install as an NT Service. The only additional configuration you will have to do is go into the PeerSync Service Properties in the Windows Services console (under Admin Tools), and change the logon account for the service from Local System Account to an account that you know has access to the directories you are trying to synchronize - this may be an admin or equivalent account. You can now start the service either from the services window or from the Run/View Current Profile Activity window.

Davis,
In the top left hand corner you should see a drop down list. Change this from Basic to Advanced to get the full list. By default some of the more advanced options to hidden to simplify learning the product.
