Hi,

I have upgraded to PeerSync v7.4 and PSListener v2.2 and am getting errors in the log file when syncing a 1GB MS Access .MDB file. It seems to hang on the MDB file. The following errors appear in the log file:

3/12/2008 9:34:50 AM PSListener Responded with: Incompatible Version Number! (Continuing with normal file copy): E:\...
3/12/2008 9:46:23 AM Error, source file size has changed during transfer (Added To Retry List): E:\... [Source File Size Changed From 1035702272 To 1035735040 Bytes During Transfer] [Stopped During Transfer]
3/12/2008 9:46:57 AM PSListener Responded with: Incompatible Version Number! (Continuing with normal file copy): E:\...

The Access MDB file is currently open and changes being made by users. Just wondering why it hangs on this file, i have to restart the PeerSync services to get it syncing again.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Martin

Martin,

Did this problem exist in your prior version of PeerSync?
What is the sub-version number of PeerSync v7.4.x.x and PSListener v2.2.x.x that you are running?

You can get this information for PeerSync by going to Help --> About PeerSync in the Profiler.
Click on the 'View Version Information' link in the lower right corner.
Click on the PeerSync Application tab and note the FileVersion.

For the PSListener go to the PSListener installation folder
Launch PSLConfig.exe
Select Help --> About...
Note the Build number and date.

Please send your profile (the .snc file in the PeerSync installation directory) and the log files (located in the PeerSync\Logs directory by default).
Send this information to support@peersoftware.com.
